Offshore Rescue Training Manikin | Ruth Lee
Ask for priceThe Offshore Rescue training manikin is heavier than the Man Overboard (MOB) training manikin, weighing 60 kg dry at a height of 1.8 m. It can be used with a life jacket for water rescue training. When lifted out of the water, the manikin weighs approximately 95 kg.
The increased weight makes the Offshore Rescue training manikin suitable for rescue training from accommodation and engine rooms, as well as from wind turbine equipment rooms/towers. The manikin’s durable protective overalls are designed to withstand use in challenging environments.
When entering the water, the manikin’s legs sink quickly, leaving only the head visible on the surface (a life jacket must be used with the Offshore manikin in water; otherwise, it may sink).
The manikin’s construction also makes it suitable for all kinds of working at height and rope access training.
Like other Ruth Lee adult-size training manikins, the Offshore Rescue manikin can be fitted with an immobilization/extrication collar around the neck to train proper casualty care.
Please note:
- Not suited for use in temperatures above 100°C or flashover scenarios – see our Fire House training manikin.
- In scenarios where the manikin needs to be in the water without a life jacket, use our other water rescue manikins: Man Overboard, Helicopter Winch, Search and Rescue, Surf Rescue.
